Holding the Moon,
Holding the Mirror,
Yangchenma, Sarasvati,
Arya Tara- come near!
It is a profound joy to offer others what I have received from my teachers through the ground of healing modalities and mentorship. Life is my teacher, all beings & all experiences ultimately. And, training one-pointedly with specific teachers throughout my journey- from the process of physical healing, to the path of spiritual awakening- has been, and still is, my passion and primary place of learning.
My spiritual journey began 19 years ago. As in the teachings of the Buddhadharma- like a bee I flew from flower to flower, searching for the perfect nectar, meeting my lineage and teacher 12 years ago. Lama Drimed & Lama Chöyang are my root gurus, of Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche's lineage of the Nyingma Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Lama Drimed is the Dzogchen lineage holder of the great master Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche. After many years of preparation and practice, I spent 4 1/2 years in solitary retreat under the guidance of Lama Drimed. The experience of deep retreat was transformative, and is the ground from which all I offer grows.
My training as a healer began 18 years ago, when I began my own healing journey, dedicating myself to the receiving and integration of somatic work. Suffused in each modality I offer are the countless teachings I have received from over a dozen practitioners of various modalities, each whom I worked closely with for at least a year or more often, many. While the content of my healing work is a synthesis of all I have learned, received and been influenced by- the form of my work is based on the years I trained with Somatic Educator Tobin McKee, and a few other major mentors. Influences extend from Myofascial Release, to Craniosacral, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Somatic Education, Dance, and Mind itself- as Mind is Body, is Presence, is Healing. And, as creative expression goes- the coming together of all experiences continually shifts and reshapes my inspiration and offering, as I am always learning!
Alongside traditional meditation practices, by the unique wisdom of my teacher Lama Drimed, my spiritual path has also included the invaluable practice and training in mind supports such as Voice Dialogue & non-dominant hand-writing for over a decade. Both modalities are profound influences in my understanding and sharing of both spiritual guidance & healing modalities.
I recall the moment I began my own healing, receiving somatic work for the first time, feeling a surge of clear aspiration to someday offer such support to others: the medicinal support of physically healing, which has since extended to our mind and spirit as well. I dedicated my life to the process of physically healing, which opened into the questioning & discovery of my spirit, and subsequently to my devotion to the spiritual path- the healing of the mind. Here I find we are not just body, we are mind and soul and spirit all at once. One unfolds into they other, and asks for the other to be tended too. All layers of our experience are subsumed within they other, we are a prism, and nature our infallible reflection.
My life journey has thus been a simultaneous dedication to the healing, the freedom, the holding, and understanding of what our body is, and our mind- inseparably, for inseparable they are. Physically healing and training in the art of supporting others in that journey, and spiritually healing and training in that practice which I can now offer others- these two streams have never really been separate for me. And, they have shown me that there are many ways "in", innumerable doorways really into the great journey of coming home. So when we are offered one, a doorway for which to step through, and learn- may we have the courage & humility. For I have found healing has no end point, just as things are not finite but rather a continuum, so too is any story, any process, or any proclamation just a moment in the stream of being. Watch the ripples of a thrown stone in water, or the wisp of a cloud dissolving into sky, space- so too all things, can you really cut them apart and say they are finished, or separate? The way things are, a continuous streaming- they move, they dance, they crumble, decay, and spring again into some new being. May we dance the dance with guidance, and with our own wisdom ever growing...
~
Dance was my beginning, or rather my first expression and mode of seeking the meaning, origin, and purpose of every thing and every one. I danced my way into meditation, and I meditated my way into the solitude of suchness, and I continue that weaving ongoingly with the humility that comes from being receptive and honest about my experience. It is a practice. There is no arrival. We look at culture and see Dharma- which can be translated as Truth- reflected, brilliant before us even, however unseen or hidden. For our nature is wanting and is knowing how to fulfill itself, fill, be full, and overflow- we just have to...listen.
Listening is the essence of all I offer- taught by my Guru, as presence is full listening and loving. The introduction to Deep Listening as well, by teacher Susan Harper, has forever shaped my being- how to stay present in attention with all our senses to another as they speak. For we do not just speak from our mouths with words. Without agenda, with an openness of heart and all senses feeling- every modality I offer of somatic healing & spiritual support are held in the profound- however simple, and too often forgotten- context of deeply listening.
In the forest for a long time, with not much contact beyond the green of trees and blue of sky and red of earth- yet with the single stream of wisdom from my infallible Guru Lama Drimed: I tasted just a taste of how silence is our being. Or you could say expression, play, creativity. Responsiveness, compassion, love, wisdom. These are qualities of that which just abides, is our truth- the truth of all inseparably. Perhaps most easily discerned in nature or the beloved- and then at a certain point on the path, the Guru becomes that all-knowing reflection to guide us home to the heart we have simply forgotten- this beingness, these innate qualities, are the gifts of this life, are the gifts we can learn to receive as a reminder of what already is, no matter the circumstance. The practice to remember, my teacher says, takes real time though- it is a practice, requiring much effort, much guidance, & much blessing. Everything is a mirror of truth ultimately, an opportunity, a gift.
Being an artist of dance, music, and various other sensorial expressions, as well as all of the above- is a creative & devotional engagement in life & in death- in the constant arising & dissolving of all things- inspiring me in every moment the wish to be more awake and in love with every experience, so I may offer such wakefulness & joy to all beings. Being a devoted practitioner of the presence that is all, enlivens this expressive truth and wish and being. May it be so!!!

Therapeutic Bodywork, Energy Healing, & Spiritual Mentorship
~
Therapeutic Bodywork is a hands-on reminder for the soma- or body- of it's own healing capacity and innate wholeness. By way of healing touch, guidance & methods for self-care, & holistic integration from soma to spirit to soul- Therapeutic Bodywork is a powerful yet gentle support no matter where we are in the healing process... or in life! Supporting chronic or acute physical issues, emotional or psychological release and integration- this is a space of healing, releasing, embracing, and regenerating. In addition, Somatic Education is offered throughout- learning about our bodies' innate wisdom and how to respond with care. Learning to be with sensation, with it's ever changing way, and being touched, held, & witnessed in that process is healing and is empowering as we learn to hold ourselves.
A unique synthesis influenced by modalities received over decades such as Myofascial Release, Craniosacral, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Somatic Education, Voice Dialogue, Dance, & the place of presence Meditation teaches us time and again that is beyond a distinction of Body or Mind, yet is both uniquely as well.

Energy Healing is being with energy's natural flow. Sometimes we are stuck, sometimes our energy is moving- just like a body of water's movement is dependent on the shape of the shore, the rocks in its' course- so too, our bodies' alignment and openness or not, affects the flow, or movement within of "energy". What is energy? What is not?! Energy is all things whether manifested as form or not yet! And healing is holding. So I hold, allow and listen, and do not move your energy- but rather in the power of presence, energy shifts on its own. There is not a direction to go that is right or wrong, there is only wherever we are. Co-regulation happens even in the simple alchemy of touch, or even more subtly, with simply our presence- and so by healing touch that is subtle and full of intuitive intention, this modality is a way to deeply re-set the nervous system and allow your natural state to stabilize and shine forth.
Another unique synthesis of somatic work that is even more subtle, gentle, yet equally profound as Therapeutic Bodywork- Energy Healing is influenced by modalities such as Craniosacral, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Somatic Education, Dance, & Meditation- where presence can become illuminated, understood, stabilized, & thus radiate, extend.

Spiritual Mentorship is a vital part of the path. Teachers, mentors, friends, and community that align with our values and aspirations become part of the refuge we seek that is infallible on the spiritual journey. Really that is the same with life itself, and all beings! Yet when we are seeking to deepen our understanding of the meaning of this life; find greater or even all-encompassing understanding of phenomena how to be with it all; perhaps even turn around our lives completely; or simply learn to be nourished by the seeing of the divinity, or beauty which is already suffused in everything: relying on supports that are consciously aligning themselves similarly is an irreplaceable, incomparable, & vital source of joy, wisdom, & encouragement.
As a Spiritual mentor, the offering of mentorship comes from my direct experience as a student and practitioner for nearly twenty years of the Buddhadharma, and the expressed wish by my teacher Lama Drimed to teach if and when hearts align and ask for guidance. My root teachers of the Tibetan Buddhist Nyingma school and lineage of Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, are his Dzogchen lineage holder Lama Drimed, and, Lama Chöyang.
Devoted to the tradition & practice under their close guidance for 12 years now, especially my time in long solitary retreat with Lama Drimed as my Guru for 4 1/2 years continues to strengthen my devotion & understanding of the path we all are on- whether deemed "spiritual" or not! Life is spiritual, as we are of spirit and of body, of identity and of a great oneness- and once we can open into that wondrous openness of not knowing, we can begin to notice the experience of such interdependent truth that is happening always...as all things are truly here for our awakening, simply awaiting our open attention.
Reawakening then to the fathomless, beginningless, endless depths of the capacity we all have to return to our innate brilliance & much needed wisdom, inseparable with the heart of compassion that could heal the world...that is our potential! And what a gift this could be to offer to all, from our grounded direct experience as we learn poco a poco along whichever path we are most warmly called to, whichever feels like home.
To dance the dance that is the play of all life, my learning of what is soul, what is spirit, what is this, who is that- continually unfolds, continually awes, continually teaches me we are always beginners to this present moment. Nature then is the Guru, here in your heart then is the Guru, ultimately. And for now, as we journey, not only are teachers much in need so we do not stray or mistake one thing for another- so too are mentors, elders, and this is where my offering can be of benefit. Someone to walk on the path alongside you, as you find your way.
Through methods of nature, breath, movement, tracking, or simply being- the support is all based in what my teacher says all beings really wish for & need: to be listened to, and loved. Allowing, meeting you wherever you are on your journey of life, spirit, soul awakening- the wish is to listen, the practice to reflect...Melong Yeshe, Mirror-like Wisdom, is my aspirational way to meet you.
